You should have a folder called
\My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\Working\Database\Templates*
Unzip and put these files in that folder:

Do that FIRST, then install these dbrs:

This should fix things.

[Edit] * If you don't have that folder, open ArtManager, load
records\xpack\creatures\pc\malepc01.dbr into the editor, then click on the menu bar
View\Show Template. That will tell you the path you have to use.

[More Editing] I added the character.tpl file which seems to be the one that is really needed. However, you really should download
all the templates and install them (see below).
