I agree, both were good, I just think 28 Days Later was better.
Although the kinda madness he went into in I Am Legend, the video store bit especially and the mannequin he saw on the bridge before he got caught in that rope sort of trap were especially good.
I think Will Smith is a fantastic actor btw, he seems to take to every role with no problems at all.
( I'm gonna have to say here though, I think Brad Pitt in 'Meet Joe Black' was astounding )
