As some of you may know, most if not ALL of Titan Quest Gold edition comes with faulty keys for Immortal Throne, rendering the game unplayable online or even not installable. I have searched around the internet, and found out this is a common problem (Probably affected most of the Gold editions). The THQ support seems to not care about our emails, as we've only been getting lukewarm answers.
Here are some threads on the matter:

VN Boards - Invalid CD Key
Anyway, I have emailed Iron Lore directly, and here are the emails exchanged;

Hello,
I understand that you guys want the customers to address our support problems to THQ, but we are tired of waiting, so we turn to the devs!
As you may or may not know, many of Titan Quest's gold editions came with defunct CD Keys, which made the game impossible to play online or even install. I am one of them. What can you guys do as devs to address this problem? I am giving a shot at sending you guys an email, since I ran into the same problem with THQ's other published game, Dawn of War Platinum edition.
Thank you

Hi ###########,
My apologies for the problems you've been having. There is nothing I can do directly to help you, as we have no involvement with the CD generation process. But I will talk to our production partners at THQ, and see if they are aware of this problem, and if so what we can do about it. If I get any useful information I'll relay it back to you.
What country did you buy TQ in? That may help us track down the source of the bad numbers.
Regards,

I myself bought the Gold edition in Canada, but it seems to happen with all North American versions.
The Canadian edition comes with 3 manuals; One English Titan Quest, One French Titan Quest, and One English Immortal Throne. The install process goes well for the original game, but when installing Immortal Throne, the installer will no accept the CD Key printed on the Immortal Throne manual, but it will accept the cd key printed on the FRENCH version of the manual. But the key is still banned online.
I can provide you with the CD key's and picture if you want them.
Thanks.

Hi ###########,
Thanks for the information, that helps narrow down where the problem is. Let me make sure that I have your info correct:
1) You can install and run Titan Quest with no problem. One question, can you play Titan Quest online?
2) You cannot install Immortal Throne using the CD Key provided on the English Immortal Throne manual.
3) You can install Immortal Throne using the CD Key provided on the French manual. Is that the Titan Quest manual? Can you play Immortal Throne single player after installing it this way?
I'll talk to THQ again, and let you know if we need the actual keys.
Thanks for your help,

Hi,
I can install and play the Original Titan Quest singleplayer and online well.
I cannot install Immortal Throne using the CD Key provided on the Immortal Throne manual. The "next" is grayed out when I enter the cd key in. There is only ONE Immortal Throne manual.
I can install immortal throne using the CD Key provided on the ORIGINAL Titan Quest FRENCH manual, this is the strange part. I can play singleplayer this way, but when I try online, it says my CD Key is invalid.
I have no idea if the American version also comes with the French Manual.
Also, many people have returned the game to exchange for a new one, only to have the same problem, so it must be a "batch shipment" of problems of some sort.
Here's a few threads on the matter:
VN Boards - Invalid CD Key

Hopefully I can start playing online soon!
Thanks for your help.

Hi ###########,
Thanks for the additional info. I haven't heard anything back from THQ yet, but that doesn't surprise me as I believe they've been closed yesterday and today for the Thanksgiving holiday. So I probably won't be able to learn anything more about this problem until next week. I'll keep you posted.

Hi ###########,
I talked to THQ today, and as I’m sure you’re aware of from reading the forums, THQ is aware of this problem and is working on getting a solution that doesn’t require returning the game. I haven’t gotten any more specific information from them yet though on what the fix is. I’ll keep working with them to resolve this as quickly as possible.
One thing that would be helpful is if you could send me all 3 of your CD Keys. I can test them here and see if I can figure out exactly why the bad one is bad. If I get any useful information it will allow me to help THQ get a solution in place faster. You can just email them to me at this address. There’s no need for you to send a scan of your manual.
Thanks for your help,
