Indeed, and by the time you're halfway into epic you'll have like 60 million gold and a full respec only costs you like 2 million, so feel free to play around. Won't have to respec every boss, but through most of Egypt into china I did respec twice, once I took all points from Nature Tree except Regrowth, and most of the points from the Earth tree and maxed Core Dweller the hell out, then I respecced to Petless at around 28ish and kept it like that until halfway through epic (not necessary though).
